Started in 1870 by Charles Russell.
There are over 8 million people in the Jehovah's Witnesses around the world today.
1953-1960 they wrote their own version of the Bible, the New World Translation. (Previously they used the King James Version, but their teaching contradicted the very Bible they used and they knew this, so they decided to write their own.)
JWs claim Jesus died on a pole or a pike, not a cross.
If you disagree with them, they will shun you and kick you out of their church.
JWs will not teach the divinity of Christ. (They claim the Trinity does not exist.)
JWs teach that your reward is not based on your faith in Christ, it's based on how well you follow the rules.
Through the years, JWs have changed stances in their beliefs and they have practiced doctrinal inconsistencies.
They have failed to predict the end times numerous times.
