Art & Pam DeVos

Executive Director
Food Service Director

Serving CRM since 2013
Born and raised on a farm in NW Iowa, Art grew up going to camp and loved it.  It was at camp where he gave his life to the Lord.  Art then found himself working all four summers while in college at the same camp he attended.  It was during those summers that he realized his passion for the camping ministry and felt God calling him to this ministry full-time.

Pam's father served many years in the United States Air Force which meant she has lived all over the country.  She was born in California and lived in 7 different states before settling in the Omaha area.

Art and Pam met while attending Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and were married in 2002.  They moved to Houston, Texas where Pam taught 1st Grade in an inner-city Houston school district and Art began work for a law firm.  Soon after, they received a call to enter into the camp ministry.

Pam had previous kitchen experience and became Serve-Safe Certified and began managing all aspects of the camp kitchen.  She has continued to do so since their camping ministry began in 2004. She also assists in the camp program areas bringing a significant wealth of knowledge and organization to the summer program.  Together they have served at camps in Iowa and Pennsylvania before calling Nebraska home.

They have two sons, Ashton & Hudson, and have done foster care for many years as well.  Both Ashton and Hudson love being at camp and have worked alongside of their parents in this ministry.  Ashton is attending Emmaus University in Dubuque, Iowa and Hudson will be graduating high school in May of 2026.

Marv

Camp dog

Serving CRM since 2024
Marv is a welcomed face here at CRM.  Born and raised in right here in Nebraska, Marv enjoys the outdoors.  He loves to chase birds and rabbits.  Baseballs are his all-time favorite chew toy.

His main role is to simply bring people joy.  He likes to hang around the camp saying hi to as many people as he can.  Marv really knows how to make kids happy.  (And he is very good at it!)  He gives great snuggles.

Marv continues to look forward to meeting more kids and to run with them to get his energy out!
